Kathmandu. The stock market closed lower on the first day of the week. Today, the NEPSE index decreased by 19.92 points to close at 2,595 points. Share prices of 43 companies have increased while the share prices of 207 companies have fallen.
A total of 1,12,99,334 units of shares of 345 companies were traded today and Rs 4.52 billion worth of shares were traded. Shares of Swastik Laghubitta were the most traded today. Today, the company’s shares worth Rs 13.05 crore were traded. Shares of Barahi Hydropower Company worth Rs 11.90 crore were traded. Shares of Sun Nepal Life Insurance Company Ltd worth Rs 11.40 crore were traded.
Today, the investors of SY Panel have earned the most money. Today, the company’s investors have earned 9.99 percent. The unit holders of Citizens Bank Debentures 2086 have earned 9.83 percent. Unit holders of Nepal SBI Bank earned 9.21 percent on the current fiscal year.
Investors of Sindhu Bikas Bank suffered the most losses today. Investors of Yes Bank lost 10 percent today.
