‘Taking any tourist site or new site in Koshi Province as the target site of their project, a tourism-targeted project must be built according to the geographical environment. To build the project, the competitor must conduct a mandatory on-site study and after the on-site study, prepare a drawing, 3D, dummy of the project, and project presentation of the project.’

It is said that this opportunity to show competitive talent will inspire students to present their creative thinking and move forward professionally.

Chairman Magar said that the competition will be important in adding new dimensions to Nepal’s tourism sector, developing new structures and concepts, and contributing to the upliftment of the local community. This will be a great opportunity, especially for students of engineering (civil and architecture). They can also include management or IT students in the team as needed. The team should have a maximum of 5 people.

The main objective of the competition is to develop innovative and sustainable tourism structures and plans, promote local heritage, and provide opportunities to students at the professional level by exploring new ways to promote the tourism business.

The projects prepared by the competitors will be exhibited at the exhibition in the new year. The federal government, provincial government, local bodies, Planning Commission, NRN, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Investment Board, Tourism Board, financial institutions, students, etc. will be invited to observe. It is also said that a bridge will be built to connect the projects prepared by the students with investors.

The first team in the competition will receive a cash prize of one lakh rupees, the second will receive fifty thousand rupees, the third will receive twenty-five thousand rupees, and all the participating teams will receive ten thousand rupees, along with certificates and attractive gift hampers.
