Nepal’s economic growth projected to be the lowest in South Asia

Kathmandu. The World Bank has predicted that Nepal’s economic growth will be the slowest in South Asia.

The World Bank issued a press release today for the fiscal year 2082. 83 (2025). Nepal’s economic growth is estimated to be limited to 2.1 percent in 2018-19. That’s 0.8 percent lower than the previous projection. Earlier, the economic growth rate was estimated to be 2.9 percent.

The year 2025 in South Asia. According to the World Bank, Bhutan will see the highest growth rate in 2026. Bhutan is expected to grow at 7.3 percent this year.

India is expected to grow at 6.5 per cent, Bangladesh at 4.8 per cent, Maldives at 3.9 per cent and Sri Lanka at 3.5 per cent.

South Asia’s economy is projected to grow at 6.6 percent this year.
