Kathmandu. Nepal SBI Bank has handed over Rs 10.00 lakh to Lumbini Development Trust for various conservation programmes run by the fund under the Social Responsibility Programme. The assistance will be used for environmental protection, park construction, drinking water management, providing facilities to pilgrims and visitors, and construction and maintenance of footpaths.
On the occasion, Managing Director (International Banking, Global Markets and Technology) of State Bank of India Ram Mohan Rao Amra formally handed over the assistance amount to SanuRaja Shakya, Member Secretary of Lumbini Development Trust.
The program was attended by Chairman, Jayati Bansal, Managing Director and CHIEF Executive Officer of the Bank, Ram Kumar Tiwari, Directors of Nepal SBI Bank, Ritesh Sinha, Bharat Raj Wasti, Apsara Upreti, Gopal Prasad Bhatta, Deputy CHIEF Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer of the Bank, Bikash Anand, Chief Financial Officer of the Bank, Rajesh Kumar Panda and senior officials of the Fund.
The bank has been carrying out such activities from time to time for the protection of culture and heritage at the community level. Nepal SBI Bank Limited has been providing banking services for the last 31 years. At present, the bank has 100 branches, 22 extension counters, 19 branches of non-banking, seven provincial offices, 125 ATMs and one corporate office.
