Kathmandu. Nepal SBI Bank Limited, as part of the bank’s corporate social responsibility, has organized financial literacy programs from Chaitra 4 to 10 with the slogan “think before you follow, wise money tomorrow” on the occasion of Global Money Week 2025.
The program, organized in seven provinces, informed school and college students on various topics including the importance of savings, loans and investments, digital banking, awareness of digital fraud and other basic banking and financial concepts.
The said programs were held in Dharmadevi, Beltar, Dharan, Limchungbung, Bargachhi (Biratnagar) and Damak of Koshi Province, Rajgadh, Lahan, Chandranigahapur, Janakpur, Hariban and Simara of Madhesh Province, More than fifteen hundred children and students participated in the program held at various locations including Durbar Marg, New Road Ratnanagar, Hakim Chowk, Battar, Dhading, Patan, Banepa and Hetauda, Waling, Baglung, Sisuwa and Pokhara in Gandaki Province, Palpa, Lamahi, Dang, Sunchhahari and Bhairahawa in Lumbini Province, Surkhet in Karnali Province, Dhangadhi, Shibnath, Attaria, Ganyapadhura and Mahendranagar in Sudur Paschim Province.
