Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has directed the banks and financial institutions (BFIs) to resume essential banking services.
Issuing a notice today, the central bank directed the banks and financial institutions (BFIs) to resume essential banking and digital payment system services by operating their sensitive systems with limited staff.
The NRB has also directed the NRB to make arrangements to operate through remote access on the basis of risk in case of other systems.
Similarly, the NRB has also urged the banks and financial institutions to inform the general public about the branches, ATMs and available services through its website and social sites.
