Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has advised one and all to adopt high alertness while using sensitive documents and details.
The central bank issued a notice today for financial awareness. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has warned that sending personal and sensitive documents and details such as passport, citizenship certificate, national identity card, driving license, any other identity card, credit card, debit card (ATM card) to anyone by taking photos, uploading such documents on social networks, sending e-mails and photocopies of such documents could lead to cybercrime and financial fraud gangs.
Therefore, the Rastra Bank has cautioned to adopt high vigilance in the use of such details as it is also a victim of financial crime.
