Kathmandu. Nepal Micro Insurance and Machhapuchhre Bank have signed an agreement for insurance business cooperation. An agreement has been reached at the central office of the bank regarding the insurance business.
Kumar Gyawali, Head of Research and Business Portfolio Department of the Bank and Anil Raj Giri, Deputy Chief Executive Officer (DCEO) of Insurance, signed the MoU.
DCEO Giri said that this collaboration will open up new possibilities to expand non-life micro insurance services and help protect individuals and small businesses from unexpected risks. He also said that nepal micro insurance company aims to empower the marginalized communities by incorporating the experience of micro insurance and banking access of the bank.
He said the collaboration seeks to develop innovative products, promote joint marketing initiatives and simplify service delivery. Which will ensure easy access to financial solutions related to micro insurance, he said.
