Kathmandu. Nepal Micro Insurance Company in the fiscal year 2082. The company has published its unrevised financial statements for the first quarter (July-September) of 2018.

According to the financial report, the company has earned a net profit of Rs 82.07 million in the first three months of the current FY. Previous fiscal year 2081. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 56,86,000 as of mid-September 2018. The company’s net profit increased by 44.34 percent in the review year compared to the previous year.

As of the review period, the company has Rs 6,53,000 in catastrophe fund, Rs 4,43,60,000 in retained earnings and Rs 95,000 in other equity. As of mid-July last year, there was Rs 4,31,000 in the disaster fund, while the retained earnings were Rs 57 lakh and other equity was negative at Rs 93,000.

The company’s insurance fund stood at Rs 19.05 crore as of mid-September of the current fiscal year. In the same period of the previous year, the insurance fund was Rs 17.19 crore. The size of the company’s insurance fund increased by 10.81 percent in the review period compared to the previous year.

During the review period, the company earned a total insurance premium of Rs. 6.82 crores. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 3.70 crore in the same period. The company’s total premium has increased by 84.10 percent compared to the previous year.

The company has earned Rs 2.62 crore in net insurance premium till mid-September of the current fiscal year. The company had earned Rs 1,42,000 in net insurance premium in the same period last year. Compared to the previous year, the company’s net premium has increased by 84.03 percent.

The company’s earnings per share (EPS) has increased to Rs 4.38 from Rs 750 million. The EPS was Rs. 0.43 a year ago. The company has a net worth of Rs 106.89 per share with a P/E ratio of 314 times.
