Kathmandu. Chairman of Nepal Medical College Prof Dr Zainuddin Ansari has made arrangements for essential medicines for hajj pilgrims going to Saudi Arabia from Nepal. On Thursday, he called the officials of the Haj Committee to the college and provided essential medicines so that there is no problem in the health services of the pilgrims.
“I wish all the hajj pilgrims from Nepal a long life and wish them a success. The president of the college. Dr. Ansari said. The medicines provided can be taken before any health problem appears in the health of the pilgrims and after the occurrence of health problems.
On the occasion, Chairman of Nepal Haj Committee Ishra Mulla Miah expressed concern over the health of the pilgrims and thanked the college president Prof. Dr. Ansari for providing essential medicines. “I am confident that the medical supplies provided here will help save the lives of many Hajj pilgrims. We express our gratitude for the goodwill and cooperation here. Chairman Miah said.
According to the Haj Committee, 1,171 Nepali pilgrims are going to Mecca Madinah this time. Of them, 525 are women and 646 are men. About 200 of the pilgrims mentioned are senior citizens.
Nepal Haj Committee has been working to manage the Muslim community going to Saudi Arabia every year. The Saudi Arabian government has set a quota of 1,200 Muslims in Nepal for hajj pilgrimage in 2025.
