Kathmandu. Nepal Life Insurance Company (NLIC) has announced that it was the insurance company in the last fiscal year 2081. The company has declared a dividend for 82 years.
The meeting of the Board of Directors of the company has decided to distribute Rs 1.90 billion (21.05 percent) of the current paid-up capital of Rs 9.02 billion to the shareholders from the distributable profit of the current FY. The company has decided to distribute 5 percent bonus shares and 16.05 percent cash dividend to its shareholders.
The proposed dividend will be approved by the 26th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the company and distributed to the shareholders after the approval of the Insurance Authority.
