Nepal Life has allocated Rs. 10,000 for the construction of a children’s hospital. 1 crore support

Kathmandu. Kathmandu: Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited has provided financial assistance of Rs 10 million to Kathmandu Institute of Child Health (KIOCH), a non-profit organization working on child health, under the Corporate Social Responsibility Program for the construction of a hospital building in Kathmandu.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the two organizations in this regard at a program held at kioch’s office. The MoU was signed on behalf of The Kathmandu Institute of Child Health. Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Life Insurance Pravin Raman Parajuli signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.

Budhanilkantha Municipality Ward No. The construction work of the multi-specialised Children’s Hospital Kioch-Kathmandu as a ‘hub’ hospital in Ward No. 7 is in the final stage. While the construction of the main building of the hospital continues, the work of providing services to sick children has already started by constructing a clinical research building to advance research on child health and non-communicable diseases.

Speaking on the occasion, Kamlesh Kumar Agarwal, Director of the company. He said that the project, initiated under the initiative of Bhagwan Koirala, would play an incomparable role in improving the health condition of children in Nepal.

He said that such projects would also help the policies taken by the state and if such projects could be implemented successfully at the private level in the coming days, the situation of losing lives due to lack of treatment would end in remote areas of Nepal. He said that he was proud to be associated with Nepal Life in this project.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Executive Officer of the company Praveen Raman Parajuli said that the company has been running various programs for various social, economic, educational and cultural transformations under the Corporate Social Responsibility Program.

He congratulated and congratulated everyone for this project launched to transform child health in Nepal. He said he was committed to supporting the construction of well-equipped hospitals in all seven provinces, including the capital, in the coming days to provide essential health services to children.

He said that rs 10 million has been provided under the Institutional Social Responsibility Program for the health treatment of children and he is confident that children with low economic status will get treatment from specialized doctors in specialized hospitals.

Speaking on the occasion, Founder Chairman of Kathmandu Institute of Child Health, Cardiologist and Professor Dr. Bhagawan Koirala said the project would gain momentum with the support provided by Nepal Life. At the same time, he expressed his gratitude for the support extended by Nepal Life. He said he was hopeful of receiving such support in the coming days as well. He said that collaborating with a prestigious and big brand like Nepal Life has also enhanced the dignity of Kioch and encouraged him to work.

The Kathmandu Institute of Child Health (KIOH) has been established to operate a multi-specialized hospital in the field of child health, prepare trained skilled manpower, enhance quality, develop regulation methods and procedures, formulate policies, etc. Bhagwan Koirala said.

Under this project, the first hospital Kioch-Damak Children’s Hospital has been established and the service has started. The hospital has provided outpatient, emergency, inpatient, laboratory, radiology, PICU, NICU, HDU and other services.
