Kathmandu. The Nepali Congress has vowed to move ahead as a strong and responsible party by forging the sentiments of the youth.
A joint statement issued by NC general secretaries Bishwa Prakash Sharma and Gagan Thapa made this pledge. “We are now focused on our important efforts to ensure that the achievements made by the sovereign citizen by giving their lives during the previous movements are not reversed and not to let the country go back from the Constitution of 2072,” the statement reads. “We are steadfast in our belief that change should always be at the forefront.
The press release reads that the individuals and parties that have come to power after the establishment of federal democratic republic have not been able to work at the pace of people’s expectation, irregularities and corruption are flourishing. “We are self-conscious that our efforts to hold the government accountable were incomplete, we failed to intervene adequately and failed to understand the rhythm and aspirations of the new generation in time,” the statement reads. ’
“Passion, excitement and vendetta will come and go during such turmoil, so the Nepali Congress will become a party that is responsible for the people by connecting the aspirations of the general public, the sentiments of the Genji youth and the aspirations of other different generations,” the statement said. g.
