Kathmandu. National Laghubitta Financial Institution Limited has joined the gratuity and pension scheme run by the Citizen Investment Fund. Around 600 employees working in the microfinance company have signed an agreement to join the scheme.
The agreement was signed by Parbat Kumar Karki, Executive Director of the Fund and Ram Bahadur Yadav, Chief Executive Officer of Microfinance.
There is a provision for the participation of organized organizations and employees of such organizations in this scheme of the fund. Under this, organizations can manage the gratuity fund based on contribution or non-contribution.
According to the same arrangement, the ‘D’ category national level microfinance fund has been included in the gratuity scheme. Microfinance has been providing microfinance services to 241,000 households in 74 districts through 185 branches across the country.
