Kathmandu. National Life Insurance has been adjudged the best life insurer at the 9th Business Awards ceremony organized by New Business Edge Limited. Similarly, Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance has been adjudged the best non-life insurer.
The fiscal year 2080 was held at a felicitation ceremony held at Soaltee Hotel on Thursday evening. Both these insurers have been awarded the best insurer on the basis of the transaction size, insurance fund and financial strength of 81.
Shree Investment and Finance was adjudged the best financial institution, Global IME Bank the best digital banking award, Everest Bank the best commercial bank and Muktinath Bikas Bank the best development bank. Similarly, Salt Trading Corporation has been awarded as the best public institution.
Babulal Agrawal Chachan, former president of Birgunj Chamber of Commerce and Industry and chairman of Chachan Group, was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award on the occasion.
