Kathmandu. National level development banks have earned a profit of around Rs 4.75 billion till Mid-April of the current fiscal year.
According to the financial statements, eight national-level development banks have earned a total profit of Rs 3.69 billion till Mid-April. The total profit of these development banks was Rs 3.53 billion in the same period last year. The bank’s profit has increased by 4.35 percent compared to the previous year.
According to the data released by the banks, Garima Bikas Bank has earned the highest, while Kamna Service Development Bank has the highest dividend potential.
Kamana Service has the capacity to distribute 18.98 percent dividend per share till the third quarter.
Shine Resunga Development Bank is in second place. The bank’s dividend capacity is 10.59 percent.
Similarly, Shangri-La Development Bank has 9.01 percent, Garima Bikas Bank 8.23 percent, Muktinath Bikas Bank 8.04 percent, Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank 5.07 percent and Lumbini 0.02 percent. Jyoti Bikas Bank’s dividend capacity was negative at 17.25 percent.
