National Insurance earns 43.29 percent in total insurance premium, here are other financial indicators

Kathmandu. National Insurance Company has released the revised financial statements for the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year 2081/82 BS.

During the review period, the company’s retained earnings stood at Rs 1.42 billion. Other equities are worth Rs 308.6 million. As of the review year, the company’s disaster fund stood at Rs 32.1 million. There is 1.45 billion in the special reserve.

In the same period of the previous year, the company’s retained earnings stood at Rs 822.2 million. Other equities stood at Rs 331.5 million. There was Rs 32.1 million in the disaster fund. There was 1.45 billion in the special reserve.

In the review year, the company earned a total insurance premium of Rs 1.29 billion. In the same period of the previous fiscal year, the company had earned a total insurance premium of Rs 901.5 million. Compared to the same period of the previous fiscal year, the company’s total insurance revenue has increased by 43.29 percent.

In this review year, the company has spent Rs 731.1 million through reinsurance. In the same period of the previous fiscal year, the company had spent Rs 282.4 million.

The company earned Rs 560.6 million in net insurance premium in the review year. In the same period of the previous fiscal year, the company had earned Rs 619.1 million in net insurance premium. Compared to the previous year, the company’s net insurance revenue decreased by 9.44 percent.

According to the financial statement, the company has made a loss of Rs 623.9 million in the review year. In the same period of the previous fiscal year, the company had earned a profit of Rs 266.7 million.
