Kathmandu. Nabil Bank in the last fiscal year 2082. The financial statements for the first quarter of 83 years (July-September) have been made public.
As per the financial report, Nabil Bank has earned a net profit of Rs 1.75 billion in the first three months of the current FY. Previous fiscal year 2081. In the first quarter of the current fiscal year, the bank earned a net profit of Rs 2.05 billion. The profit of the bank decreased by 14.57 percent compared to the previous year.
The distributable profit of the bank stood at Rs 5.63 billion in the review period. The bank has the capacity to distribute 30.15 percent dividend till the first quarter of the current FY. The dividend yield stood at 20.96 per cent in the same period last year.
The bank’s operating profit stood at Rs 2.57 billion in the current fiscal year. Operating profit was Rs 2.89 billion in the same period a year ago. The operating profit of the bank also decreased by 10.84 percent.
The bank has earned Rs 3.90 billion in interest till mid-September. The bank had posted a net profit of Rs 4.14 billion in the same period last year. Interest income decreased by 5.77 percent in the review period compared to the previous year.
The bank has a paid-up capital of Rs 27.05 billion with rated earnings of Rs 5.63 billion and reserve of Rs 32.43 billion. In the previous year, the retained earnings were Rs 4.77 billion and the reserves were Rs 31.90 billion.
During the review period, the bank collected deposit of Rs 556.61 billion and extended loan of Rs 421.02 billion. The bank had collected deposit of Rs 524.62 billion and extended loan of Rs 412.79 billion till mid-July of the previous fiscal year.
The NPL ratio of the bank has decreased to 0.97 percent as of mid-September of the current fiscal year. The NPL of the bank was 1.42 percent in the same period last year.
In the first quarter of the current FY, the bank’s annual earnings per share (EPS) has decreased to Rs 25.49. EPS was Rs. 29.83 in the same period last year. The bank’s net worth per share is Rs 240.72 with a P/E ratio of 19.97 times.
