Kathmandu. Nabil Bank has introduced a new debit card under the MasterCard network. The bank has launched a new debit card in a program organized in Kathmandu to further enrich its customers and e-payment. Senior officials from Nabil Bank and Mastercard were present in the program.
Manoj Kumar Gyawali, chief executive officer of the bank, said, “This is the latest achievement of the bank in its commitment to provide high-level services to our customers. He further added, “The bank has been providing world class facilities to its customers since the beginning. ”
Rabi Datala, Senior Vice President, Product & Solutions, South Asia, Mastercard, said, “We are pleased to introduce new debit cards to further strengthen our partnership with Nabil Bank. With Mastercard, we are committed to provide safe and convenient payment facilities to our customers.
With the new debit card, customers will be able to experience Mastercard’s world-class network and experience new banking services in everyday life. According to the bank, the new debit card will be available in an attractive design. The image depicts Danphe, the national bird of Nepal, which is considered a symbol of decency, freedom and national pride.
Mastercard’s new debit card users will get a premium facility. Discounts will be available in various restaurants, spas, fitness centers and entertainment areas.
Nabil Bank is a major subsidiary of Mastercard. Nabil Bank is also the first bank in Nepal to issue Mastercard Credit Card. The bank has been providing credit cards of Mastercard in Nepali rupees and US dollars. Customers can apply for the card from any branch of the bank or NB App.
