Kathmandu. Nabil Bank Limited has conducted a nationwide program focused on all seven provinces on the occasion of ‘Global Money Week, 2025’. With the aim of enhancing financial literacy, Nabil Bank has conducted a program focused on students and youth and celebrated ‘Global Money Week, 2025’ this year as well.
Global Money Week was conducted from March 17 to 23 around the world with the main slogan ‘Think Before You Follow, Wise Money Tomorrow’. Under this campaign, Nabil Bank has launched a program to enhance financial literacy among more than four thousand students and youth in all seven provinces of the country.
The bank had launched a financial literacy campaign to make students and youth financially aware from a young age and to inform them that they should not invest based on the whims of financial influencers. The bank has stated that the program conducted in all seven provinces provided information on topics such as savings, budgeting, investment, digital financial literacy, and cyber security.
The bank has informed that 744 students and youth from Koshi Province, 1,063 from Madhesh Province, 441 from Bagmati Province, 434 from Gandaki Province, 506 from Lumbini Province, 405 from Karnali Province, and 407 from Sudurpaschim Province benefited from the campaign conducted by the bank by participating in financial literacy classes.
Nabil Bank Limited has been conducting various programs throughout the year with the aim of expanding financial literacy and encouraging digital banking. Similarly, the bank is also conducting programs including ‘Nabil SSE’ to develop social entrepreneurship. It is also providing educational loans and youth entrepreneurial loans at concessional interest rates targeting youth and students.
Nabil Bank has been carrying out various social works with the aim of bringing positive changes in society under its social responsibility. The bank is working with priority in the areas of financial literacy, entrepreneurship development, health, education, disaster risk reduction, management and climate change. The bank’s efforts have led to positive improvements in the lives of thousands of people from different communities and have helped to take concrete steps towards environmental protection.
