Kathmandu. Mero Microfinance Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited has handed over insurance amount to the families of customers who died untimely in Nepal. According to Dipendra Batala, branch manager of Mero Microfinance Bauniya, Kailali branch number 13, the insurance amount was handed over to the husband of Kala Bhandari, who is associated with Makhmali Mahila Kendra in Kailali branch in collaboration with Asian Life Insurance.
A cheque of Rs 325,000 was handed over to Bhandari’s husband Padmakhar Bhandari.
Ward member of Lamkichuha Municipality Ward No. 5 Koshi Pariyar handed over the handover ceremony. The program was attended by representatives of local organizations and employees of branches. A tree sapling was also planted in the name of the deceased on the occasion.
