The bill links tax exemptions to cut heavy spending on programs such as Medicaid and food stamps, and increased funding for defense and deportation. The proposed 940-page bill is expected to be passed and implemented by July 4.

The main part of the proposed bill is Trump’s $350 billion border and national security plan. These include $46 billion for building a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border, $45 billion for $100,000 for migrant detention beds, 10,000 new ICE officers, and a $10,000 signing bonus.

The bill is part of a campaign to deport the largest number of immigrants in U.S. history. Under this campaign, Trump aims to deport one million immigrants every year. – Agency
