Kathmandu. An agreement has been signed between Internet Service Provider Company Easy Net and Everest Engineering College for collaboration. A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the two sides amidst a ceremony on Thursday.
Satish Karki, Chief Executive Officer of Sajilo Net and Prof. Dr. Pramod Kumar Shrestha signed the MoU on behalf of the campus. Hari Krishna Shrestha signed the agreement.
Speaking at the MoU ceremony, CEO Karki said, “We are happy to collaborate with Everest College, which is successful in the field of engineering. CEO Karki further added that the collaboration is not only for paper but also on a shared vision and commitment.
“This collaboration is not just a paper form, it is a reflection of our shared vision and commitment. “We are trying to connect the education world with practicality,” she said, adding, “After completing their studies, friends come for jobs, but they have knowledge but no skills. ’
Similarly, Campus Chief Prof. Dr. Hari Krishna Shrestha expressed the belief that the cooperation would address the complaints of lack of practical knowledge from the market even though the students passed out of the college.
“The complaint that we are getting now is that the students do not have practical knowledge. I am confident that with the collaboration with Easy Net, we will be able to impart practical knowledge to our students in the coming days.”
He also expressed confidence that the collaboration with Easy Net will not only help the company but also to produce skilled manpower in the country. “The collaboration with Easy Net will not only produce manpower for easy net but also produce manpower to connect the country with technology,” he said.
