Kathmandu. Machhapuchchhre Bank has signed a formal agreement with Kuwait-based Al Muzaini Exchange with an aim to make remittances coming to Nepal from abroad easier, simpler and reliable. Machhapuchchhre Bank has formally launched the remittance service in collaboration with Kuwait-based Al Muzaini Exchange with the aim of making it easier for Nepalis living in Kuwait to send remittances to Nepal.
The bank formally signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Al Muzaini Exchange by organizing a formal program at Hotel Millennium Salmia in Kuwait on Thursday.
Chief Executive Officer of Machhapuchhre Bank Santosh Koirala and General Manager of Kuwait-based Al Mujaini Exchange, Mr. Hugh Renards handed over the agreement to each other at the official ceremony held in the presence of Machhapuchhre Bank Chairman Roshan KC.
Acting Ambassador of Nepal to Kuwait Sujani Rana presided over the function which was attended by Non-Resident Nepali Association Kuwait President Ranadhwaj Lama, representatives of non-resident associations, representatives of various Nepali associations based in Kuwait and journalists as well as many Nepalis working in Kuwait. At the same event, the bank released the cover song of the bank.
