Kathmandu. The Ministry of Home Affairs has issued more than five dozen directives in 11 points to the Chief District Officers (CDOs) of all 77 District Administration Offices in view of the situation following the Genji agitation.
Issuing a circular today, the Ministry issued directives regarding issues related to maintaining peace and security and controlling crime, good governance, regulation, coordination and facilitation in public service delivery.
In addition to this, these directives are focused on increasing the trust and confidence of the citizens in the government by playing an active and effective role with awareness on personal conduct, and to fulfill the responsibilities provided by the prevailing laws so that the results are visible.
