Kathmandu. The flow of money in banks has not stopped. The average CD ratio of banks has come down to less than 78 per cent due to low demand for credit and high deposit growth.
According to the latest data of Nepal Rastra Bank( NRB), the average CD ratio of banks stood at 77.91 per cent on June 14. There is no demand for credit in the market and economic activity has slowed down.
According to the data, the total deposit deposits of the banks have reached Rs 7,058 billion and the credit flow has reached Rs 5,576 billion. As of this day, the total deposit of commercial banks is Rs 6,317 billion and the total loan investment is Rs 4,956 billion.
