Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has reduced the upper and lower limits of the interest rate corridor.
Governor Bishwanath Poudel will be present at the meeting for the fiscal year 2082 BS today. Unveiling the annual monetary policy of Rs 83, he informed that the upper and lower limits of the interest rate corridor have been reduced. He is making public the monetary policy.
According to Governor Poudel, the upper limit of the interest rate corridor has been reduced to 6 percent. Earlier it was 6.5 percent.
Similarly, the deposit collection rate, which is the lower limit of the interest rate corridor, has been reduced to 2.75 percent. Earlier, it was 3 percent.
