Kathmandu. Newly appointed Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank Dr Bishwa Poudel called on Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel today.
Newly appointed Governor Poudel called on Finance Minister Poudel at the Ministry of Finance this morning. On the occasion, Finance Minister Poudel extended his heartiest congratulations to the newly appointed Governor Poudel and wished him a successful tenure.
Stating that the government would move ahead in coordination between the fiscal policy and the monetary policy, Minister Poudel expressed the belief that the newly appointed governor would take important initiatives to solve the problems in the economy and monetary sector.
Newly appointed Governor Poudel said that the Ministry of Finance would lead the country’s economy and nepal rastra bank would help in the implementation of the finance policy through monetary policy. He pledged to emphasize the supervisory capacity of the Rastra Bank for the effectiveness of the financial sector.
On the occasion, Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Damodar Bhandari, Finance Secretary Ghanshyam Upadhyay, Revenue Secretary Dinesh Kumar Ghimire and newly appointed Governor Poudel were congratulated.
