Manushi Microfinance’s Annual General Meeting concluded

Kathmandu. The sixth annual general meeting of Manushi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited was held on Sunday. The annual report of the company, presented by Chairman Padmasana Shakya on behalf of the board of directors, was unanimously passed at the meeting held at Hotel View Bhaktapur, Jagati.

Shobha Bajracharya, the company’s CEO, delivered a welcome speech at the meeting and highlighted the overall status and progress of the company. Also, while answering the questions raised by the shareholders at the meeting, she said that she has worked with commitment to bring the company to a position where it can distribute dividends next year.

The company, which has completed six years of establishment, has 36 branches in 14 districts as of last fiscal year. The organization, which has a share capital of 10,93,75,000, has a reserve fund of 4,23,34,732. The organization’s earnings per share are negative by 7.22, compared to negative by 38.25 in the previous year, which is a significant improvement during the review period. The organization has collected more than 987.8 million deposits from 33,718 members during the review period.
