When the investigation resumed, it was found that it was not a road accident but a planned murder. Now, nine months after the incident, this was revealed during the police investigation and the police have arrested four accused including the policy advisor and sent them to jail. It has also been revealed that this gang used to cheat crores of rupees by making fake insurance policies.

On August 1, 2024, an FIR was registered in a road accident at Chandausi Kotwali. The case was filed by Rajendra, a resident of Dhilwari village in Bisauli police station area of Badayun district. According to the FIR, Rajendra’s brother Daryab Jatav had left home on July 31, 2024, saying he was going to Chandausi Bazaar. However, his body was found about 150 meters away from the army square at 10 pm on the road leading to Atta. At that time, it was revealed that he died after being hit by an unidentified vehicle.

In the post-mortem report, the cause of death has been mentioned as head injury and friction throughout the body. Police searched for an unidentified vehicle but could not find it. After this, the police closed the file. The deceased daryab was a disabled person and did not do any work. How did he pay the instalments of five policies? These were questions that surprised the police. This is where the police got suspicious.

The police came to know that the insurance policy was made in the conspiracy of axis bank advisors to such a person i.e. deceased Daryab, who was a disabled person. According to the plan, the murder was carried out by a professional criminal and it was made like an accident. The gang members then took the deceased Daryab’s brother Rajendra into confidence and lodged an FIR in connection with the accident.

After taking all the documents, an account was opened in Axis Bank. But he kept the passbook, checkbook and ATM card with him. When Rajendra did not know about this gang, the claim money was demanded from Rajendra’s account and withdrawn. However, during the police investigation, everything was revealed and now the police have arrested four members of the evil gang who cheated people by making fake insurance policies.

Sambhal SP Krishna Kumar Vishnui said that action is being taken against the insurance mafia by ASP Anukriti Sharma. In the meantime, he has made the biggest disclosure so far. On April 30, 2025, the police sent the report of the entire case to the court, after which the accident case was reopened.

Pratap, a professional criminal and the main accused in the murder case, and Pankaj Raghav, policy advisor of Axis Bank, who planned the incident, as well as brothers Hari Om and Vinod were taken into custody and interrogated.

The accused then confessed to their crime and said that HariOm and Vinod had come to Get a loan from Axis Bank in Chandausi. Where he spoke to the bank’s policy advisor Pankaj Raghav. When the conversation between the three progressed and they could not get the loan. And Pankaj Raghav planned to grab the insurance money and then the crime was systematically embodied.

AsP Anukriti Sharma has made a big disclosure of the murder by reopening the file that was closed in the accident after nine months. How many more such incidents are there in this regard and who else is involved in this gang? Investigations are also underway in this regard.
