Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank has launched a new enterprise loan at an attractive interest rate with the aim of making foreign employment returnees successful entrepreneurs. The new venture loan has been launched targeting the people who have returned from foreign employment who have the necessary skills, experience and some money to run a business, but due to lack of sufficient investment, they are deprived of doing the business they want.
Such loans will be made available at competitive interest rates with the intention of developing entrepreneurship by running various businesses based on agriculture, trade, service and production.
The minimum tenure of this type of loan will be from 2 years to a maximum of 15 years. The bank believes that this will help to make the returnee youths self-reliant, create employment in the country, develop entrepreneurship, properly utilize the remittance money and contribute to the economic development of the country. Also, people living in Nepal will be able to use such facilities under various loan heads to operate and expand small and medium enterprises and businesses.
