Mahalakshmi Bikas Bank, which is providing state-of-the-art, safe and easy banking facilities to its customers, has launched the facility of purchasing tour and tour packages in an easy and safe way using the bank’s credit card in view of the upcoming festivals. Keeping in view the trend of Nepalis visiting different countries during festivals, the bank has launched this scheme
Under this, the bank has also signed agreements with various reputed travel agencies for business collaboration. In the initial phase, tourists will be able to avail this facility through Guru Travels Limited, Durbarmarg and Recent & Rhythm Tours and Travels, Uttardhoka, Kathmandu.
Under the agreement, Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank’s credit card holders will be able to purchase various tour packages through travel agencies using Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank’s credit card. They will also be able to convert the amount equivalent to the value of the tour package purchased by them to be paid monthly with a flexible period of 6 months to 12 months.
After submitting the bill of the tour package purchased by it, Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank will easily convert the transaction into a monthly installment and the bank will not charge EMI processing fee for making changes in such monthly installments. With the launch of this initiative, the bank believes that it will help promote digital payments and make festivals more exciting and meaningful.
Recently, the bank has added virtual credit card facility to its mobile banking app “Mahalaxmi Smart Saathi”. The bank has 103 branches and 800,000 customers across the country, providing quality financial services at the doorsteps of the Nepali people with the slogan of “Sabal Bank, Successful Collaboration”.
