Kathmandu. Machhapuchhre Bank has convened its 27th Annual General Meeting ( AGM).
A meeting of the board of directors of the bank held on Thursday decided to hold the agm on September 15. The meeting will begin at 11:00 am at Hotel Pokhara Grand in Pokhara, Kaski.
The assembly last fiscal year 2081. It will approve a dividend of 8 percent of the existing paid-up capital proposed for 82. Of this, 4 percent is a bonus share of Rs 464.85 million and a cash dividend of Rs 464.85 million (including taxes).
The meeting will also pass a special resolution to issue 8.25 per cent machhapuchhre unmoved unaccounted non-privileged preference shares worth Rs 3 billion at a face value of Rs 100. The meeting will approve the proposal to increase the authorized capital of the bank from Rs 15 billion to Rs 20 billion.
The meeting will pass a special resolution to amend the management letter and regulations as per the special proposal of the bank and give full authority to the board of directors to carry out the proposal from the regulatory body in accordance with the suggestions.
The meeting will approve the appointment of directors for the remaining term of the previous director by the board of directors to the vacant post on behalf of the general shareholder group on the board of directors.
The assembly will approve the annual and auditor’s financial report for the last fiscal year. Current fiscal year 2082. It will approve the proposal regarding the appointment of auditor and his remuneration for 83.
The bank has decided to close the book on September 15 for dividend and annual general meeting purposes. This means that only the shareholders who have been in office before September 15 will be eligible to receive dividends and participate in the meeting.
