Kathmandu. Life insurance companies have invested more than Rs 7 trillion in various sectors.
Nepal Insurance Authority (NIA) has released the current fiscal year 2082. As per the data till the first quarter of 2018-83, 14 life insurers have invested Rs 789.82 billion. According to the statistics, Nepal Life Insurance has seen the highest investment in various sectors. The company has invested Rs 202.58 billion in the company.
Life Insurance Corporation is in second place. The company has invested Rs 119.57 billion in various sectors.
Himalayan Life Insurance has invested Rs 82.01 billion in various sectors while National Life Insurance has invested Rs 70.62 billion in the review period.
Likewise, Citizen Life Insurance has invested Rs 26.91 billion, followed by Surya Jyoti Life Insurance Rs 43.64 billion, Citizen Life Insurance Rs 26.51 billion, Citizen Life Insurance Rs 26.51 billion, Sanima Life Insurance Rs 23.79 billion, Citizen Life Insurance Rs 23.79 billion, and National Insurance Insurance Rs 66.91 billion. Also, Nepal Life Insurance has invested Rs 18.10 billion and Sun Nepal Life Insurance has collected Rs 18.10 billion, Reliable Life Insurance Rs 18.69 billion.
