Life insurer’s business surpasses Rs 35.24 billion in two months.

Kathmandu. In the fiscal year 2082/83, life insurance companies have collected more than Rs 35 billion in total insurance premiums. These companies have earned a total of Rs 35.24 billion in insurance premiums by selling 1,14,50,477 insurance policies.

During this period, Nepal Life has collected the highest premium. The company has earned a total premium of Rs 9.68 billion. The second is the National Life Insurance Company. During the period, the company earned a total premium of Rs 4.08 billion. The company has earned Rs 3.98 billion in insurance premiums from the current fiscal year. LIC Nepal has collected Rs 3.38 billion in insurance premiums.

Similarly, Himalayan Life Insurance has collected Rs 3.17 billion in insurance premiums. Surya Jyoti Life has earned a total premium of Rs 2.01 billion. Citizen Life has earned a total insurance premium of Rs 1.50 billion. Asian Life Insurance has collected Rs 1.48 billion in insurance premiums from the quarter. Sanima Reliance Life has collected a total premium of Rs 1.20 billion.

IME Life has collected Rs 1.5 billion in insurance premiums from the current fiscal year. MetLife has collected Rs 1.05 billion in insurance premiums. Reliable Nepal Life Insurance has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 1.01 billion. Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life Insurance has earned a premium of Rs 96.98 crore. Sun Nepal Life Insurance has collected Rs 60.66 crore as insurance premium.
