Kathmandu. By the end of the fiscal year 2081/82, life insurance companies have collected a total of more than 100 billion rupees in insurance premiums. According to the statistics of the Nepal Insurance Authority, these companies have sold 13.446 million rupees in insurance policies and collected a total insurance premium of 108.711 billion rupees.
Up until this period, Nepal Life has collected the most total insurance premiums. The company has collected 29.39 billion rupees in total insurance premiums during this period. National Life has collected 13.62 billion rupees in total insurance premiums. LIC Nepal has collected 12.56 billion rupees in total insurance premiums. Himalayan Life has collected 11.22 billion rupees in total insurance premiums.
Suryajyoti Life has collected 6.69 billion rupees in total insurance premiums. Asian Life has collected a total premium of Rs 5.69 billion. Citizen Life has collected a total premium of Rs 4.49 billion. National Life Insurance Company has collected a total premium of Rs 4.47 billion.
Sanima Reliance Life has collected a total premium of Rs 4.29 billion. Met Life has collected a total premium of Rs 3.88 billion. IME Life has collected a total premium of Rs 3.28 billion. Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life has collected a total premium of Rs 3.19 billion. Reliable Nepal Life has collected a total premium of Rs 3.17 billion. Sun Nepal Life has collected a total premium of Rs 2.70 billion.
