LIC Nepal’s profit shrinks by about 62%, EPS also stands at Rs. Dropped to 5.74

Kathmandu. Life Insurance Corporation (LIC Nepal) The financial statements of 82 have been made public.

According to the financial statement, the company has earned a profit of Rs 315.8 million in the review year. The previous fiscal year 2080. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 829.6 million in 2017-19. Compared to the previous fiscal year, the company’s profit decreased by 61.92 percent in the review year.

In the review year, the company’s share premium stood at Rs 498 million, disaster fund at Rs 680.8 million, retained earnings at Rs 2.99 billion and other equities at Rs 641.3 million. In the previous fiscal year, share premium stood at Rs 61.1 million, rs 654 million in disaster fund, Rs 3.16 billion in retained earnings and Rs 333.6 million in other equities.

In the last fiscal year, the company’s life insurance fund stood at Rs 132.92 billion. In the previous year, the life insurance fund stood at Rs 119.22 billion. The size of the company’s life insurance fund increased by 11.49 percent in the review period compared to the previous year.

In the review year, the company earned a total insurance premium of Rs 19.93 billion. In the previous fiscal year, the company had earned Rs 18.10 billion in insurance premiums. The company’s total insurance revenue has increased by 10.11 percent in the review year compared to the previous year.

In the last fiscal year, the company earned Rs 19.82 billion in net insurance premium. In the same period of the previous fiscal year, the company had earned Rs 17.99 billion in net insurance premium. The company’s net insurance revenue has increased by 10.18 percent compared to the previous year.

The company’s annualised earnings per share (EPS) declined to Rs 5.74 billion from Rs 5.5 billion. Last year, the EPS was Rs 8.38. The company has a net worth of Rs 187.47 per share with a PE ratio of 154.82 times.
