Kathmandu. Life Insurance Corporation (LIC Nepal) for the fiscal year 2082. The company has published its unrevised financial statements for the first quarter (July-September) of 2018.

According to the financial report, the company has earned a net profit of Rs 10.83 crore in the first three months of the current FY. Previous fiscal year 2081. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 7.88 crore as of mid-September 2018. The company’s net profit increased by 37.47 percent in the review year compared to the previous year.

As of the review period, the company has a total of Rs 69.16 crore in catastrophe fund, Rs 3.09 billion in retained earnings and Rs 300.9 million in other equity. As of mid-July last year, the company had Rs 680.9 million in disaster fund, Rs 2.99 billion in retained earnings and Rs 386.7 million in other equities.

As of mid-October of the current fiscal year, the company’s life insurance fund stood at Rs 136.95 billion. In the same period of the previous year, the life insurance fund was Rs 123.78 billion. The size of the life insurance fund of the company increased by 10.64 percent in the review period compared to the previous year.

In the review period, the company earned Rs 4.98 billion in total insurance premiums. During the same period, the company earned Rs 4.57 billion in total insurance premiums. The company’s total premium has increased by 8.96 percent compared to the previous year.

The company has earned Rs 4.96 billion in net insurance premium till mid-October of the current fiscal year. The company had earned a net premium of Rs 4.54 billion in the same period last year. Compared to the previous year, the company’s net premium income increased by 9.11 percent.

The company’s earnings per share (EPS) has increased to Rs 7.88 from Rs 5.50 billion. The EPS was Rs 5.98 a year ago. The company has a net worth per share of Rs 183.32 with a PE ratio of 100.87 times.
