Kathmandu. Laxmi Sunrise Capital Limited has been appointed as the issue manager for the issuance of 20% Initial Public Shares (IPO) of 21,06,000 units of face value to the general public.
The agreement was signed between Mr. Bijay Lal Shrestha, CEO of Sunrise Capital Limited and Mr. Saroj Guragain, Chief Executive Officer of National Fund Management, on behalf of their respective organizations.
The National Fund Management Limited has been registered as a Public Limited Company at the Office of the Company Registrar and has received license from the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) as per the Specialized Investment Fund Regulations, 2075 BS as the Fund Manager of Private Equity Fund, Venture Capital Fund, Hedge Fund. It has also received approval to act as a qualified institutional investor for the securities issued through book building method.
The company has been operating “National Equity Fund-1” as a diversified private equity fund and “National Hydro Fund-2” as a diversified private equity fund.
Rated CARE NP Triple B Square by Credit Rating Agency, National Fund Management Limited has about 27 percent stake in the company, as well as various banks, financial institutions and NRNs. It has been distributing dividends for the last 3 years.
