Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) has postponed the average transaction price and index calculation method for the last 15 minutes.
Issuing a notice today, NEPSE informed that the method has been suspended. According to NEPSE, the old transaction price and index calculation method will come into effect from September 22.
According to the directive received pursuant to Sub-section (1) of Section 87 of the Securities Act 2063 through its letter dated September 20, the weighted average price of the price maintained in the session referred to in clause (b) of Sub-rule (1) of Sub-regulation (1) of the Securities Transaction Operation Bye-laws (Fourth Amendment) 2081 shall be deemed to be the final transaction price. If there is no transaction during this period, the latest transaction value will be considered as the final value,” the NEPSE said in a statement. “The changed system will be implemented from the next trading day as it will be a public holiday on September 20,” NEPSE said.
