Kathmandu. Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank has conducted various financial literacy programs on the occasion of Global Money Week 2025. The World Financial Week is celebrated every year in March in coordination with the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) to create awareness about the importance of financial education among adolescents and youth. The week began on March 17 this year and ended on March 23.
On the occasion of Global Money Week, the bank has conducted financial literacy programs, morning walks in all seven provinces with the aim of enhancing financial literacy among students and developing financial knowledge and skills, and has broadcasted various awareness-raising materials through social media.
The bank has provided financial literacy to more than 2,500 students nationwide by conducting financial literacy programs in various schools across the country through trainers approved by Nepal Rastra Bank. Discussions were held on the possibility of building capital by collecting small amounts of money, making daily living easier through the development of savings, creating a personal budget and starting a spending habit, and various digital transactions and their opportunities and challenges.
Similarly, the bank has conducted morning walk programs at various locations on the occasion of the week with information related to financial literacy.
