Kathmandu. Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank has embarked on a new beginning in the banking sector of Nepal by introducing Nepal’s first doorstep banking service under the Special Saving Account. This service will be especially beneficial for customers who are busy with their daily work and want to avail banking facilities without visiting banks.
Under this technology, customers of the bank can avail various services such as depositing cash, cash withdrawal from account, ordering cheque book, bank statement, balance certificate and other services from the comfort of their home or office. These facilities are provided free of cost.
Customers can request the required services through mobile banking app and upon receiving the request, the bank representative will reach the requested location to provide the service. It has made banking access, easy, simple and technology friendly, promoting digital banking.
This service is the first doorstep banking service in Nepal with the approval of Nepal Rastra Bank. According to the bank’s Chief Marketing Officer, Dipendra Subedi, this is the first in the history of Nepal’s banking sector and Kamana Sewa has introduced this service to provide banking services at the doorstep of customers in some developed countries of the world.
According to Subedi, Chief Marketing Officer, the bank has started a digital technology-based facility with customer satisfaction as the main priority, which will give customers a complete experience of time-saving, convenience and security. The bank believes that this service will be very useful for businessmen, office staff, housewives, senior citizens who are busy on a daily basis. Customers can enjoy the bank’s facilities from the comfort of their homes without long queues, time to reach the bank and paperwork. The service includes free locker facility, ATM debit card, mobile banking facility and other free bank service.
Currently, this service has been launched in Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur and gradually it will be expanded throughout the country.
