Kathmandu. The 3rd AGM of Jyoti Capital Limited was held today at Jyoti Bikas Bank’s meeting hall, Kamalpokhari, Kathmandu under the chairmanship of Chairman of Board of Directors Prakash Baral.
The AGM approved the Board of Directors report for the fiscal year 2081/082 BS and discussed and approved the annual financial statements including balance sheet, profit or loss account, cash flow statement, etc. for the end of Ashadh 2082. The AGM also endorsed a proposal of distributing a cash dividend of Rs. 1,47,00,000 along with dividend tax at the rate of 7% of the paid-up capital of the company.
The company is a subsidiary of Jyoti Bikas Bank with a paid-up capital of Rs 21 crore.
With the aim of becoming a partner in the prosperity of every customer, the company has been licensed to operate Merchant Banking with the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) and has been providing securities guarantee, investment management, corporate advisory and other services.
