Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The Insurance Authority of Nepal (IBA) and the Actuarial Society of Nepal (ACN) jointly organized a discussion and interaction with actuaries and actuarial analysts at the NTA central office in Kupandole today.
Speaking on the occasion, Executive Director of Nepal Insurance Authority (NEA) Sushil Dev Subedi said that the role of actuarial knowledge and actuarial human resources is significant for the development and promotion of insurance sector. Presenting the results of the survey conducted with actuarial analysts and supervisors, Director of NEA Pujan Dhungel said that the participation of actuarial analysts has increased in the entire insurance sector.
Deputy Director of the NRA, Nirmala Malla, said that the implementation of risk-based capital and risk-based capital in the fiscal year 2081. She made a presentation on the provisions that the insurers should pay attention to while submitting the updated provisions and report on 82.
President of Actuarial Society of Nepal Prekshya Mathema said that the Society is ready to support actuarial and actuarial analysts in enhancing their knowledge, skills and capacity. On the occasion, the actuarial analysts shared their work experience, existing challenges and regulatory support, among others.
The program was attended by the office bearers and members of the Actuarial Society of Nepal and insurance analysts. The program was hosted by Sudha Kafle, Assistant Director of Insurance Authority.
