Kathmandu. Capital News Network, the publisher of Insurance News, has released another audio-visual material on life insurance awareness. The message is intended to convey to the general public the importance of life insurance, savings, and the financial preparation that parents should make for their children’s education.

A daughter from a simple businessman’s family is planning to go abroad for higher education after her 12th standard results. Her parents are struggling to cover her expenses, from visa to education. Reflecting the impact of the recent economic slowdown on bank credit services, business, and interpersonal relationships, the situation of difficulty in obtaining credit or loans when in trouble is touchingly depicted.

After making many attempts to obtain a loan, but nothing worked, the businessman finally gets an educational loan from the bank for his daughter’s higher education after waiting for 7 months, making it easier to realize his dream of sending his daughter abroad.

When the parents of the daughter’s friend, who had invited him for dinner to share their happiness after his daughter was going abroad, told him that they had no stress in securing the money needed for her higher education because they had taken out life insurance immediately after her birth, the businessman regretted not taking out life insurance when he had time. Although late, he is ready to insure with the conclusion that he needs life insurance for the rest of his life as well.

This audiovisual material attempts to represent the common problems and challenges faced by parents from lower middle class families in Nepal for their children’s higher education. The ignorance that still exists among the general public regarding life insurance, the lack of awareness and practice that even if they are financially prosperous, they should save and invest while having time to earn money needed for the future, and the environment is also shown.

Keshav Prasad Bhandari, President of Capital News Network, has thanked all the collaborators for providing the third awareness-raising audiovisual material on behalf of Insurance Khabar, which carries the main mantra of insurance awareness. He expressed his commitment to publish more audiovisual content in the near future, as it is possible to include everyone under the umbrella of insurance, a trusted companion who lends a shoulder in times of crisis, through insurance awareness.

This audiovisual content is available on the official YouTube channel of Insurance News. The script of this content is written and directed by Romeo Gurung, while the cinematography is done by Ishwar Ballabh Upreti. The script, conceived by Keshav Prasad Bhandari, is managed by Akash Kunwar. The music is composed by Vishesh Silwal and Pushkar Vajman and the editing is done by Santosh Dawadi and Romeo Gurung.

This audiovisual material features the performances of Sandeep Dangol, Niru Khadka, Roshika Poudel, Radha Giri, Prabhash Limbu and Ishwar Ballabh Upreti. Krishna Malla is seen in a special role.

All life insurance companies except LIC Nepal have supported Insurance Khabar in preparing this second audiovisual content.

Earlier, Insurance Khabar had taken its step forward in insurance awareness by preparing an awareness-raising audiovisual content titled ‘Let’s Insure Life, Let’s Stay Safe’.

Similarly, Insurance Khabar had brought its first song ‘Insuring is the one who carries the burden of risk’ in the insurance sector. This song was sung by Alina Chauhan.
