Industry Ministry urges industrialists to move ahead with high morale

Kathmandu. The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies has urged industrialists to move ahead with high morale. On Monday, the secretaries of the ministry, Dr. Ram Prasad Ghimire and Krishna Bahadur Raut held discussions with the representatives of the private sector at the Ministry and said that the support of the private sector was necessary to take the country forward in a new way. They also said that the Ministry was committed to provide necessary support to the private sector to move ahead from the existing situation.

{{TAG_OPEN_div_12} The secretaries said that there would be no shortage of essential food items as there was sufficient stock of essential food items in view of the upcoming festivals. They also urged producers, importers, transporters, sellers and others not to hoard goods in a way that would adversely affect demand, supply and demand. The ministry has also urged the general public not to hoard goods unnecessarily as it will not have much impact on the supply chain. The government has also called on the private sector to resume its industries and businesses as the situation is returning to normal.

On the occasion, CNI President Birendra Raj Pandey stressed on the need of creating an environment conducive for the country’s economy to move forward together.TAG_OPEN_div_8 He said that although the arson, looting and vandalism in the private residences and buildings of manufacturing industries, hotels and retail chains, small businesses and industrialists has disappointed the private sector, the government is trying to rise with new courage. The private sector was committed to working closely with the government and stressed the need for the government to make the private sector confident.
