Kathmandu. Recent developments have confirmed that India’s insurance sector has been caught in the maze of criminal gangs. Many criminal cases are heard and seen, but it has been revealed that criminal gangs are misleading half of India to grab life insurance money.
Apart from southern Indian states, Jammu and Kashmir and Rimachal Pradesh, criminal gangs seem to have managed to grab billions of insurance money by trapping common people. No one can believe the acts of this criminal gang, but in the recent past, after the arrest of some people, it can be understood that such a disgusting plan is being made to grab the insurance money.
According to the police investigation, this criminal gang used to insure such people by planning to kill the dead, dying and killing them. Sambhal district police in Uttar Pradesh has revealed that the gang was successful in earning billions of rupees from the insurance company to pay the claims of the person.
The racket involved in insurance fraud was exposed when a car was suddenly stopped by the police in the middle of the night. Okaresh Mishra and Amit were in the car. Rs 11.5 million in cash, 19 debit cards and mobile phones were seized from the car. More than 100,000 people had photos on the same mobile phone.
The man was a man trapped by this criminal gang. Some of them were about to die, some were dead, and some were from poor families. The gang used to insure the man and extort money by claiming it from the company.
According to the police investigation, the gang, which has formed a network of insurance frauds, used to insure innocent people and later kill them and extort insurance money by showing them road accidents. According to the police, the gang has so far committed at least 4-5 murders to get insurance money.
Police have already arrested some other people involved in the racket and are searching for the rest. It has been revealed that this gang has insured hundreds of people and has embezzled Rs 2.5 billion.
The case of insurance fraud is also being investigated by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) under the Revenue Department of India. – Agency
