Kathmandu. The state-owned Life Insurance Corporation of India (LI) has come up with an amazing scheme for women. Under this scheme, women will get Rs 7,000 per month without paying any money.
The company has launched LIC Insurance Sakhi Scheme. Its purpose is to empower women by giving them the opportunity to earn a monthly income. It also has to expand the reach of insurance to remote areas through this scheme.
This scheme is an initiative for dedicated women empowerment. This includes helping women become insurance agents. Training will be provided to women included in this scheme. After the training, women will be paid as agents every month.
Under the LIC Insurance Sakhi Scheme, women agents will be given a monthly salary for three years based on their performance. According to the company, in the first year, it will be Rs 7,000 per month.
The scheme will not include lic agents or employees. Their family members will also not be able to apply. Retired LIC employees and former accused will also not be eligible for the scheme.
The candidate must have attained the age of at least 18 years to join the scheme. A maximum of 70 years of age can apply. The applicant should have passed 10 in the study competition.
Under the LIC Insurance Sakhi Scheme, women agents will get Rs 7,000 per month in the first year and Rs 1,000 in the second year. In the first year, at least 65 percent of the insured should be active from the female agent participating in this scheme.
