Kathmandu. Last fiscal year 2081. Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has traded shares worth Rs 3 billion in the OTC market.

According to nepse data, shares worth Rs 2.95 billion of various companies were traded in the last fiscal year. A total of 1.78 million units of shares of these companies were traded.

Professional educators have the highest turnover. Nine hundred forty-seven thousand 855 units of shares of the company were traded for Rs 299 million 759 thousand 855. The shares of the company were traded at Rs 400 per share.

Similarly, Medicare Hospital has the second highest turnover. Nine hundred forty-seven thousand 178 units of shares of the hospital were traded for Rs 269.26 million. It is rs 209.19 per share.

A total of 364,080 units of shares of Medicare Hospital were traded for Rs 116.14 million.

Stepan Multiple Company is in the third place. Nine hundred forty-seven thousand 855 units of shares of the company were traded for Rs 194 million 884 thousand 800.

NEPSE has developed the concept of OTC market and brought it into operation since 2064 BS. According to a notice issued by the Office of the Registrar of Companies in the OTC market from February 1, 2018, shares of companies that are not listed on NEPSE, companies that have been de-listed and public companies that have not been listed due to non-fulfillment of the necessary conditions for listing are traded.
