Kathmandu. Life insurance companies have collected a total insurance premium of more than Rs 13 billion in the month of April alone. These companies have sold 498,634 insurance policies and collected a total of Rs 13.18 billion in insurance premiums.
During this period, Nepal Life has collected the highest total insurance premium. The company collected a total insurance premium of Rs 3.57 billion during the period. National Life Insurance has collected a total of Rs 1.56 billion in insurance premiums. LIC Nepal has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 1.53 billion.
Himalayan Life has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 1.19 billion.
Suryajyoti Life has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 872.3 million. Asian Life has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 676.3 million. Citizen Life has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 593.3 million. Met Life has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 542.9 million.
The National Life Insurance Company has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 508 million. Sanima Reliance Life has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 491.2 million. Reliable Nepal Life has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 45.67 million. Prabhu Mahalakshmi Life has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 426.8 million. IME Life has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 417.8 million. Sun Nepal Life has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 332.6 million.
